Man vs. Bee Explained

Trevor is a sweet but clumsy man who’s trying to prove he’s responsible. He gets hired to look after a wealthy couple’s luxurious home while they’re away. But the moment he steps in, a bee shows up. What starts as a minor nuisance quickly spirals into full-on chaos.

Trevor becomes obsessed with getting rid of the bee. And because it’s a smart home with expensive art, cars, and gadgets, every attempt he makes to swat, trap, or outsmart the bee ends in massive destruction. Each episode shows the consequences stacking up, and things get more ridiculous and destructive as he goes.

By the end of the series, Trevor is on trial for all the damage he caused. But there’s a twist: the bee was actually part of a scheme to distract him while burglars robbed the house. So Trevor was kind of right to be suspicious the whole time, even if his methods were… extreme.
